We (librarian, art teacher, P.E. coach and music teacher) were in the planning stage of our Black History collaborative unit when I received this gem of an email. As librarian, I will be conducting an author study on you using the books autographed at the University of Southern Mississippi’s Children’s Book Festival last year. It was such a pleasure meeting you!
I have hyped my students up about your work. Our final book of study will be “The Roots of Rap”. I’m heading to Barnes and Nobles this weekend to purchase it.
