I purchased this book for my daughter’s kindergarten class. The school is now creating a Black History Month Project based on the book. Each week we will highlight two of the beatitudes. Families are invited to submit pictures and short bios of historical figures, people from the community or family members who personify the spirit of the beatitude being highlighted. We hope to widen inspire conersation about those people who inspire us. Thank you so much for such an inspiring book!
